Debbie Bensching, LCSW, LICSW, ACSW, MSWAC, ASCH Approved Consultant. Debbie is clinically licensed in both Oregon and Washington state, has her national master’s certification in addictions, and is an ASCH Approved Consultant in clinical hypnosis.
She has been in private practice since 1992 where she provides both direct clinical services to clients and provides supervision, consultation, and training to other practitioners in her areas of specialty. In her clinical practice she focuses on non-pharmaceutical approaches such as hypnosis, EMDR, and Brain Spotting, to name a few. Her primary clinical focus is with complex trauma, impacts of developmental trauma, addictions and recovery, affective disorders, and mental performance training.
Debbie is active in several of her professional organizations. She is the current President of the Oregon Society of Clinical Hypnosis (OSCH), the Component Division Chair for the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH), works with the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD) to support bringing clinical hypnosis training to its members, and she is a member in good standing with the International Society of Hypnosis (ISH) and the National Association of Clinical Social Workers (NASW National and Oregon).
