Biography
Carol Rogers-Tanner retired in 2020 from a forty-year career as a master’s level psychologist and psychotherapist. She has been a long-time member of MSCH, led small practice groups for introductory workshops, and served on the board for about six years.
Using Hypnosis quickly became a valued part of treatment for clients with a wide range of diagnoses many of whom valued individualized recordings of hypnosis made during sessions. When the MSCH board invited retired members to rejoin the organization she gladly did so and has since attended two conferences and many of the Saturday Hypnotic Conversation meetings. She currently has a small (closed) practice as a life coach.
Carol was diagnosed with Latent Auto-Immune Diabetes in Adults, treated as Type 1 Diabetes, in 2019 and began adding helpful imagery about this new challenge, to her daily self-hypnosis practice. She soon began thinking about sharing this with others with Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes and eventually developed a recording available free of charge to anyone through a YouTube video.
